GSF 2024: Glasgow's Transforming Challenge
Glasgow Science Festival has run our Creating Engineers competition for nearly two decades. The annual competition invites over 12,000 primary 5 & 6 pupils across the West of Scotland to apply their teamwork, construction skills and imagination to various engineering-based challenges. Pupils work in pairs and compete through four rounds to become the Glasgow Science Festival Creating Engineers champions.
We are inviting your school to try the second round challenge of this years competition. Share your designs with us on social media and register your school by 26th June to receive a certificate. Full info below.

Complete our online form by 26th June to receive:
• Creating Engineers 2024 class participation certificate
• GSF Creating Engineers badge per pupil
*Dumfries & Galloway, East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire, South Ayrshire, East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Glasgow City, Inverclyde, North Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, SouthLanarkshire, West Dunbartonshire
For all other areas
Complete our online form by 26th June to receive:
• Creating Engineers 2024 class participation certificate
Register your school by 26th June to receive your certificate and, if eligible, badges.
This asks for school name, teacher contact name, email address, postal address, pupil numbers per class. The info will not be used in any other way except to send you the certificates and/or badges.
