Ingenious Circus Engineering Team
Ingenious Circus brought together talented people from the worlds of engineering and circus. Due to COVID restrictions limiting our ability to visit pupils in the classroom, we decided on a remote engagement approach. Our Engineering team recorded short videos of themselves exploring the following:
What is engineering?
What kind of engineering they do?
What is the focus of their current research?
How can engineering improve lives?
And the burning question- how can it link to the circus!
After watching the videos, pupils from the three primary schools met with the researchers over Teams for a lively Q&A. Where the engineers were even treated performances of the pupils new found circus skills!
