Cities are the lifeblood of human culture, and are becoming less green and sustainable as years pass. With unchecked city planning and climate change, our cities will lose their beautiful flora and fauna.

Come to the ARC to learn about plant care, backed by UofG research, on the best ways to:

  1. Plant seeds - how to choose them, what to choose and how to get them started
  2. Look after your soil - how to keep your plant healthy day-to-day.
  3. And take care of your new plant friend - even if you haven’t had the best of luck with gardening in the past, or maybe you’ve been a little anxious to try it, we’ll help you out!

We’ll provide the pots, the seeds and the soil (and even a drink!), all you need is to come along with some green fingers. We want to keep our cities vibrant (even indoors!) and all it takes is a little know-how to keep the future green.

This is an event accessible to all. There will be both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks available at this event, as well as inclusive snack options.

This event is for ages 10+.

This event is free but ticketed.

If you have any access requirements, please contact ARCEngage@Glasgow.ac.uk
