Join us for a tour through the Hunterian Art Gallery as we look at the presence and absence of women in art. Discover stories of women behind, or represented in the canvas, and their achievements and contributions to the art world.The tour will invite a conversation and raise questions around, art training and the conditions in which men and women produced art over time, the impact marriage and social conventions have had on the artistic ambitions of women, and how these themes have been represented in art.This tour will be delivered by Hunterian Curator of Art Collections, Lola Sanchez-Jauregui Alpanes.
