Inspired by fragments of unreliably documented history, and reframed in the present, this piece explores her transformatory journey from oppressed to oppressor to liberator.
Aud the Depp-Minded is chamber opera by Joanna Nicholson for soprano Stephanie Lamprea, horn Andy Saunders, clarinet Joanna Nicholson, electronics Alistair MacDonald with projection art by Trent Kim, which premiered at soundfestival 22nd October 2024.
