This winter warmer workshop responds to the challenges of winter through creativity and sharing of experiences. We will make winter table decorations using foliage and candles to bring light and the outdoors into your home. Weather permitting, we will forage some materials in the local park and will return to hot drinks and snacks. While crafting, there will be space to have conversations about seasonal depression (SAD) and mental health, as well as talking about winter light and strategies for Wintering Well. You’ll be given a bag to take your materials home with you after the workshop. Please note that this workshop is only available to people aged 18+.
The workshop is part of an ESRC funded project on Living with SAD and Wintering Well.
