This exhibition has been curated by the Textual Editing Lab at the University of Glasgow, which connects researchers, archivists, digital developers, artists, professionals and students engaged with textual editing challenges and opportunities, to share good scholarly practice and encourage innovation and collaboration.

It showcases the work of a diverse collection of visual artists working across a range of media, whose approach to creative practice intersects with the interests of the Lab: Anna Chapman Parker, Storm Greenwood, Jane Hyslop, and Saul Pankhurst. It will give audiences an insight into creative engagements emerging from the relationship between text and image, and invites reflection on the visual and material qualities of (tangible or digital) text; how images and/or texts convey information or knowledge; (visual) editing as creative process; and ‘expanded literacy’ as an approach to the relationship between the textual and the material.

Opening times:

Monday-Friday: 08.30-19.30

Saturday and Sunday: 10-4
