This lunchtime show-and-tell session explores the life and career of William Thomson, Lord Kelvin.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view unique records held in the University's Archives & Special Collections including personal papers, correspondence, University records and highlights from Kelvin's commercial ventures.

One of the most significant figures in the University of Glasgow's history, Thomson's connection to the institution spanned more than 70 years, as student, educator, researcher and Chancellor. The records on display illustrate this connection and shed light on his life and legacy.

Free, open to all.
