Recognised as an authority on British music through his lectures, concerts, broadcasts, recordings and writings, Richard Deering performs a piano recital concert of music by Scottish Composers.
In the past, he has been entrusted with many first performances by leading composers – while many composers have written especially for him. Apart from solo and lecture-recitals, he is very busy as an accompanist and chamber musician and has given lighter programmes of music and ‘chat’. He has considerable experience as a teacher and has also served on competition juries throughout the British Isles and around the world.
This concert is part of the Thursday Lunchtime concert series, and is free to attend.
Doors open at 12.45pm, and seats are allocated on a first come first served basis. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
