Egon Altdorf (1922-2008) was a German artist, poet, and prisoner of war. He worked as a sculptor and printmaker and designed extensive glass for the new Synagogue in Wiesbaden, Germany in 1966, a significant post-Holocaust work.

Join us on Wednesday 1 November at 5.15pm for a conversation between Professor Graham Ward and Professor David Jasper exploring Altdorf's work.

This is part of a programme of musical events and seminars accompanying the exhibition, "Into the Light: The Art of Egon Altdorf", in the UoG Memorial Chapel, which runs from 11 October until 17 November 2023. Viewing available Mon/Tue/Thur/Fri from 9-12; 2.30-5pm.
