*The Epic presents participatory music events of massive proportions.*
This year we bring professional jazz musicians together for a scratch BIG BAND day, with anyone who wants to sign up and take part. Suitable for age 16 - 102. Come and perform amazing Big Band repertoire and work with professionals, showcasing your work to the public at the end of the day.

Requirements:
- Sign-up essential (free).
- You have an instrument.
- You have some music reading experience - you will be sent some music one week in advance of the project to look over.
- You are aged 16 and over (no upper limit).
- You can attend the whole day and short evening performance.
Public showcase at 7.30pm in the historic Queen Margaret Union and perform on the same stage as Queen, Nirvana and Franz Ferdinand!

Making noise in epic proportions, THE EPIC PRESENTS is an annual event where we host massive participatory music making. Each event has a theme and will invite incredible professional musicians from Glasgow, our UNESCO City of Music, to lead us in a participatory performance of epic scale. Part of Music in the University, THE EPIC PRESENTS will always be free for participation.
