Glasgow Burns Supper
Join the University of Glasgow as they host a Glasgow Burns Supper in the Bute Hall on the Gilmorehill campus! This event offers alumni, friends and students the opportunity to celebrate the life, works and spirit of the great Scottish poet, Robert Burns, in a night that highlights and embraces Scottish culture and heritage.

Event Description:
To celebrate the life, works and spirit of the great Scottish poet, Robert Burns, the University of Glasgow will be hosting a special alumni Burns Supper in the spectacular surroundings of the Bute Hall in the heart of the main Gilmorehill campus.
These dinners will give alumni, friends and prospective students the chance to connect with the University and hear about our achievements and news from the year. Tickets include a welcome reception in the Hunterian Museum and a four-course meal of traditional Scottish fayre with drinks in the Bute Hall. Dinner will be followed by a ceilidh with live music from one of Scotland’s top ceilidh bands, The Jiggers, who will be sure to fill the dancefloor in the Kelvin Gallery.
We will also be joined by international Burns Speaker and fellow UofG alumnus, Clark McGinn, who will entertain guests with his Burns recital, and invite you to raise a wee dram to Scotland’s national poet.
