Go behind the scenes with an exclusive tour of the Museum of Fine Art, Houston, led by your fellow UofG alumni:

Christine and Kaylin will lead an exclusive one-hour tour of the New Galleries for American Art, which they led a reinstallation of in November 2020. The tour will be followed by drinks and nibbles outdoors in the porte cochere of the Beck Building.

The American Galleries were redesigned in an effort to rethink the traditional installation and interpretation of the nation's art by bringing together its multifaceted expressions - paintings, sculpture, photography, books, prints, furniture, ceramics, metals, textiles and costume - as made by a diverse range of artists over a 250-year period of history. Drawn from across the Museum's collections, the displayed works represent the art of Native Americans, Mexico, the British, French and Spanish North American colonies, and the United States of America.

There is no charge to attend this event and access to the MFA galleries, which are not ticketed, is complimentary on this day.
