Join the Instittute of Physics in Scotland on Thursday November 1st at 7pm in Room 257 of the Kelvin Building, University of Glasgow, when we will hold a special event to mark International Dark Matter Day 2018 (www.darkmatterday.com).

First, Ben Giblin from the Royal Observatory Edinburgh will give a talk entitled "Why the Dark Matters: An Astronomer's View on the Missing Mass".  Then, Dr Andy Buckley from the University of Glasgow will give a talk entitled "Oh Dear, What Can the Matter Be?"   There will then be a short Q&A panel discussion followed by light (and dark!) refreshments.
