Film & Photography Usage

During University of Glasgow graduation ceremonies, it's important to be aware that official photographers will be capturing photographic images and film footage. These visuals will be used for various purposes, both within and outside the University, including:

→ Uploading to the University's website, which may include live streaming

→ Utilisation on social media platforms and potentially other online websites

→ Incorporation into live recordings of the event, which the University will produce and offer for sale

→ Inclusion within various marketing materials such as digital and print publications, posters, banners, advertising films, e-newsletters, and more

→ Application for teaching and research purposes

Please note that when these images (along with associated metadata) are used online, they may be transferred to countries outside the EU where the UK lacks sharing agreements.

If you or your guests do not wish to appear in any film footage or general photography images, there will be an overflow area where the ceremony can be viewed.
