Short Description

This course will facilitate students to gain an in insight into novel developments related to nutrition of production and companion animals.

Course Aims

The course will enable students to discover the latest and novel scientific developments related to animal nutrition.

Intended Learning Outcomes of Course

By the end of this course students will be able to:

■ Critically evaluate the latest trends and scientific developments in production and companion animal nutrition;

■ Critically discuss the philosophical and ethical issues associated with advances in animal nutrition;

■ Communicate scientific developments to a range of audiences.

Minimum Requirement for Award of Credits

Students must submit at least 75% by weight of the components (including examinations) of the course's summative assessment.
