Assessment

There will be two summative assignments. There will be a 500 word response paper (30%) and a 2,000 word reflective essay (70%).

To promote an awareness of adult education for social change.

Intended Learning Outcomes of Course

By the end of this course students will be able to:

a) Develop familiarity with the major conceptual basis of adult education for social change

b) To investigate the diverse sites of contemporary adult education

c) To identify debates within the field

d) To situate their own experiences within the broad framework of adult education for social change 

Minimum Requirement for Award of Credits

Students must submit at least 75% by weight of the components (including examinations) of the course's summative assessment.
