Tackling health inequalities
In September 2023, we celebrated the official opening of the Clarice Pears Building, the new home for the School of Health and Wellbeing. Supported by donations from across the global University of Glasgow community, this innovative space brings researchers together to work with third sector organisations, local government and the NHS, to understand and prevent health inequalities.
While health inequalities pose a stark challenge in Glasgow, the issue affects people and health systems around the world. With the Clarice Pears Building at its heart, the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences is dedicated to tackling inequalities through an “us together” approach.
The University is working closely with our communities to generate solutions that will benefit people everywhere, watch our film below to learn more about how your donations are making an impact both locally and globally.
