Holly's employability journey
Can you tell us about your overall experience with College Employability Programme?
I have been really impressed with the diversity of courses available with the College Employability Programme and the ease and quality of the courses has exceeded my expectations! I simply picked a few to complete over the summer or in the quieter periods of university, and worked with tutors (who were incredibly helpful and supportive) to develop my skills for my CV.
In what ways have College Employability Programme courses prepared you for internships/future jobs?
I certainly feel more confident in my ability to show my skills and demonstrate my abilities. The LinkedIn course gave me a way to show this off and the Leadership course gave me the strength to talk to people in a professional setting. The courses also demonstrated key areas of my CV that I need to work on in the future, which will be really beneficial when applying for jobs.
