Emma Smith
Emma is the Student Experience & Partnership Lead (Skills & Development) for the College and focuses on developing our online courses, supporting work-based learning, collaborative dissertations and general employability skills. Email Emma
Dr Dayana Balgabekova
Dayana is the Student Experience Team's Tutor Coordinator and responsible for the management, development and training of our tutor team. She also supports the delivery of activity across the College Employability Programme portfolio.
Ellie Craig
Ellie is a tutor for the Student Experience team which provides support for students' academic learning, skills development, and employability enhancement, as well as student transitions through their degree programmes. She is studying politics and sociology and is most interested in networking as a key tool to develop employability skills.
Kristina Kurincova
Kristina is one of our expert Student Experience Team tutors. Alongside her studies in Accounting and Finance, she has a particular interest in supporting students' development within the Groupwork to Teamwork and LinkedIn courses.
Danchen Yan
Danchen is a PhD candidate in the School of Education at University of Glasgow, researching international higher education and student social mobility. She has a particular interest in identifying and analysing the barriers that students from diverse backgrounds face when participating in UK higher education.
Dasa Pogorelec
Dasa is one of our senior Student Experience Team Tutors. Alongside her Masters in Economic Development, she has a particular interest in developing new courses and materials, such as PGT Experience Enhancement Programme, and new full day skills development programmes within our Skills Day programme.
Sarah Kazira
Sarah is a second-year PhD student in Sociology with a strong interest in helping students improve their teamwork skills through the Groupwork to Teamwork course, as well as supporting them strengthen their academic writing abilities through the Developing Your Academic Writing course.
Niamh Dennis
Niamh is a fourth year Common Law student. She has a particular interest in our Study Abroad and Dissertation courses such as our Making your Dissertation Work for You course.
Alejandra Cordova
Alejandra is one of our digital media and online learning interns. Alongside her studies in Social and Public Policy and Sociology, she has a particular interest in helping to bring courses to life through video content, images, and website design.
Sophie Wollen
Sophie is one of our digital media and online learning interns. Alongside her studies in Common Law, she has a particular interest in assisting students in their employability journey through producing digital and social media content.
