The College Employability Team offers support to staff to embed and develop key transferable skills within the curriculum. We can offer support in the following areas:
College Employability Programme
- The College Employability Programme offers a suite of individual certificated skills courses that can be embedded into credit-bearing courses to support students’ development of key transferable skills relevant to their specific course and their future careers.
- From teamwork and presentation skills to policy writing and collaborative dissertations, our courses are delivered online, can be timed to run alongside your teaching timetable and are accompanied by live face-to-face workshops.
- All of our courses are supported by a team of trained tutors who provide formative feedback to students as their skills develop.
Work-related learning
- We can support you to design and deliver a range of initiatives in your courses and programmes which provide students with valuable insight and experience of the workplace. Find out more below.
New course development
- We are currently producing new skills courses roughly every 2 months and are actively looking for new skills areas to support. Our courses focus on the skills students need in the classroom which the will also apply in the workplace.
Student mobility
- We support both incoming and outgoing student mobility and internationalization through a range of student study abroad initiatives.
