During your studies, you will be required to work in groups on multiple occasions. Working in groups is challenging (and often disliked by students!) and this course will try to address these challenges and provide some techniques and resources that will help you make the move from groupwork to teamwork.
Remember - effective teamwork skills and an understanding of how groups operate are some of the most sought after skills by employers, so putting in the effort now will stand you in good stead when transitioning to the workplace. Teamwork encompasses a range of essential workplace skills - from emotional intelligence and problem solving to effective influencing and project management skills: these are all underpinned by good communications skills and a willingness to listen and learn from others.
Students who complete College Employability Programme courses will receive digital badges and certificates to showcase their achievements to employers.
