Improving Feedforward with Turnitin QuickMarks
Friday 28 February: 13-14.00
This webinar will show you how to use Turnitin Feedback Studio (TFS) QuickMarks to provide feedback, and how to customise and create your own.
QuickMarks are labels that you can onto the submitted assignment. You can include further explanations that can include formatted text and hyperlinks, and they can also be linked to criteria when using grading forms or rubrics. Each QuickMark has space to add freeform comments.
They make providing detailed feedback and feedforward easier, especially for frequently used comments/feedback. They are organised into Sets that can be shared across markers to improve consistency and reduce workload.

Using Moodle Activity Completion to Track Progress
Thursday 6 March: 11.30-12.30
With the Moodle Activity Completion function you can specify completion conditions for any activity or resource, and these can be tracked and viewed by instructors to get an overview of all students’ progress through the components of the course. Students can also see their own progress.
This webinar will also demonstrate how completion criteria are used with Restrict Access to link activities and resources together so that students have to follow structured pathways through the content on your course. This is a helpful way to scaffold students’ use of your Moodle course.
