AboutSUS: a new podcast exploring sustainability
Published: 11 November 2022
AboutSUS is a new podcast approaching sustainability from a range of disciplinary, experiences, locations and themes. Listen to the first two episodes here.
Sustainability: we talk a lot about it, but what does it actually mean? For some people, sustainability is about preventing, mitigating, or adapting to climate disaster. For others it can speak more broadly about the needs and possibilities of future generations.
In this podcast, created and hosted by the Sustainability Interdisciplinary Research Fellow Marcela Ramos, we engage in new conversations about what sustainability means across discipines and experiences. We ask what sustainability might look like as a practice, and how we include both human and non-human wellbeing and livelihoods in our actions.
Episode 1: What is sustainability?
Episode 2: Thinking about consequences
AboutSUS is produced in collaboration with Multiplied By and edited by Emilia Rubensson. These episodes were funded by the Small Projects Funding, School of Education, University of Glasgow and supported by the Sustainable Futures Global Network.
