A reading group all about justice... without the reading!

What does justice mean to you? We all bring different disciplinary understandings and experiences of this (sometimes slippery) term. The idea of this event is to share some insights and takeaways from our favourite readings on justice (whether they be from criminology, economics, education, legal theory, sociology ...).

The event hosts will bring a few of their favourite readings on justice and summarise some of their key messages to start off the discussion. We will reflect on what each reading has to say about justice, and why others might be interested in reading it.

We hope you will also bring your own reads to share, whatever your disciplinary background. No formal preparation is required, just a genuine interest in the topic and willingness to discuss.

Our aim is to provide a bit of inspiration for broadening our own reading lists and interdisciplinary understandings of the notion of ‘justice’.
