PGR Supervisor Training & Development Workshops
Rationale
To comply with Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and Research Councils UK (RCUK) requirements attendance at a Supervisor Development Workshop is compulsory for new PhD supervisors.
All supervisors (including honorary or associate staff) are required to attend a workshop at least once every five years. Attendance is monitored by the Graduate School and a letter of attendance can be provided on request.
Attendance information
If you are a new supervisor or have not attended a workshop in the last five years you will be contacted by your School PGR Director/Administrator requesting that you agree to attend one of the workshops.
