Our graduates have an excellent track record with 94.8% in employment or further study within 15 months of graduating (21/22 Graduate Outcomes Survey) and are sought after by employers for their range of skills and experience.

Careers and Employability Information Point
All students in the College can access the College of Science and Engineering Careers and Employability Information Point. This resource offers key information and links to help you build career readiness during your degree and keeps you informed about relevant events and opportunities.
My Future Skills Award
The Award is an optional program for College of Science and Engineering postgraduates to develop and gain recognition for skills and experience from extra-curricular activities. It offers a chance to build new skills, join a community, and stand out to employers.

Find a mentor
Amplify Mentoring is a scheme pairing undergraduate students in the College of Science and Engineering with industry mentors.
It aims to work with students from backgrounds which are underrepresented in both UK universities and in industry to give students the best possible chance of success.
Your Future: Careers and Employability
This short online course introduces you to the University's Careers, Employability, and Opportunity Service, along with additional support within the College of Science and Engineering. It helps you plan for after graduation, maximise the opportunities available at Glasgow, and understand the value of your academic programme.
College Employability Grant
The College of Science and Engineering offers small grants (up to £100) to support individual students or groups in activities that enhance employability, such as attending events, taking professional courses, or organising student-led initiatives. The focus is on developing employability skills and graduate attributes.
