The Living Laboratory is proud to announce that its Radiogenomics project has been named a finalist in the 2025 Scotland's Life Sciences Awards. The project is shortlisted in the Innovation: Health Technology category, which celebrates groundbreaking advancements in Health Data and Technology.
A collaboration between the University of Glasgow, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, and Canon Medical Research Europe, the Radiogenomics project is creating a highly detailed database containing clinical, imaging, and genetic information of patients. This database will empower researchers and companies developing AI solutions to safely test and refine their models using real-world medical data, paving the way for increased integration of AI into clinical settings.
The Living Laboratory also celebrates the success of its partner MR CoilTech, which has been shortlisted in two categories: Innovative Collaboration and Innovation: Health Technology. These nominations are a recognition of the groundbreaking advancements being made in precision medicine, imaging, and diagnostics within Glasgow’s Clinical Innovation Zone (CIZ).
The Scotland's Life Sciences Awards recognise excellence and innovation across the life sciences sector, celebrating the individuals and organisations driving transformative change. The Awards Dinner will take place on Thursday 13th March 2025 in Glasgow, and will see innovators and industry leaders come together to celebrate Scotland’s ever-expanding footprint in life sciences.
