Transfer Into Life Sciences
Transfer Into Life Sciences
The application process opens on the publication of the April/May exam diet results and closes at the end of the first week in July (annually).
This application form is intended for use by registered students wishing to transfer into a degree programme within Life Sciences from another college within the University of Glasgow.
If applying for a Transfer to Year 3 of one of our Programmes you should complete the Level-3 entry web form which will have been sent to you. You should not complete a separate application for Transfer.
Applications will be considered by the Chief Adviser for Life Sciences after all exam results are available.
You will be contacted with the outcome, via email, prior to the start of session (no earlier than the end of July).
Transfer applications should normally be submitted by the first week in July. Applications may be considered after this date if there is a genuine reason for a late application.
Any student wishing to transfer into a Life Sciences degree must meet the following criteria after the May exam diet:
- You must meet the normal entry requirements for the stage being transferred into
- You must meet the University progress requirements for the current session
- You must achieve at least a D3 in the primary subject(s) of your current Plan
You must also be able to complete your degree programme within six sessions from first registering at this University of Glasgow (six years).
