Narissa Parry: PhD in Cancer Sciences
I came to Glasgow to study at one of the UK’s leading universities for cancer research.
My programme enabled me to experience two different labs before settling in one for my PhD project, allowing me to learn different skills and techniques including 3D culture and flow cytometry.
The best things I’ve experienced here so far are the expertise and support of my supervisors and colleagues, and since being at the university my confidence in the lab has grown massively.
This year I’ll be taking part in the Glasgow Science Festival to engage others in science.
