Eduardo Gomez Castaneda: PhD in Cancer Studies
I would say that I chose Glasgow because of the weather!
Jokes aside....Glasgow has an international reputation in cancer research and there was not a better place for my PhD.
The project is exciting and keeps me busy working both as a biologist and a bioinformatician.
The university hosts some of the world leading figures in biomedical research and it attracts a lot of international researchers.
This is the best treasure that the university offers…an international and intercultural group of friends.
I have also participated in science outreach both organising events and talking about my own research.
