Join the College of Arts & Humanities International Student Mentor Programme
Are you a first year international student about to start at the University of Glasgow or a visiting student preparing for your study exchange in Scotland? Join the International Student Mentor Programme!
ISMP is a peer support system that connects international and visiting students with Glasgow students to help you settle into life at the University of Glasgow.
Mentors and mentees are matched based on common interests. Your assigned mentor will first be in touch with you via email, so remember to check your email regularly.
College of Arts & Humanities International Student Mentors are University of Glasgow undergraduate (years 2–5) students who help you to feel at home in Glasgow, for instance, by exploring Scotland together, socialising on weekends and by helping you to meet new friends and settle in.
All members will be invited to join a private WhatsApp group. This group has been set up to connect international students with University of Glasgow Student Mentors. You can use this platform to share your questions and concerns throughout your time in Glasgow.
Throughout the Semester, we organise many fun events such as day trips, pub quizzes, walking tours, and more!
