Time: 18:30 - 20:00

Enjoy spoken reflections on ‘home,’ memory, and belonging from a community collective formed following a recent series of creative writing workshops at the Tenement House Museum. Through compelling spoken word performances, the authors will bring life to the scents, stories, and sentiments that define what it means to be at ‘home’ in Glasgow.
Receive a complimentary copy of our postcard publication, showcasing the diverse voices of home. Appreciated for its intimacy but distinctively lacking in privacy, the postcard symbolises the precarity of ‘home’ in current society. Featuring the authors’ handwriting keeps their voices present, and the postcard medium allows this cultural project to reach beyond this event and into the homes of others, creating a legacy.
This event is free to attend and open to the public, offering an intimate moment to connect with a community who share a passion for storytelling and creative expression.
