Nothing to Write Home About is a series of three writing workshops delving into themes of 'Home' and memory rooted in Glasgow locality. Hosted in the apt setting of Glasgow’s Tenement House Museum, these workshops offer a unique opportunity to interact with the museum’s collection and archive, retelling history through personal narratives and creative methods.

History and the present have shown us that 'home' can be precarious, threatened by conflict, natural disasters and displacement. As we navigate through these challenging times, where systems designed to support us are under immense strain and often fail to function adequately. Nothing to Write Home About offers a space to explore, express, and cope with these realities through the power of writing.

We aim to foster a community of diverse voices. These workshops are inclusive and welcome to all, but we encourage New Scots to take part. Your contributions throughout the workshop series will culminate in a final publication, featuring distinctive postcard designs.

Please be mindful that spaces are limited, therefore we kindly ask that you complete a 100-word motivation for why you would like to participate.

Don’t miss this chance to explore the concept of ‘home’ in a new light, connect with others, and support your creative development. Reserve your spot today and be part of a memorable literary project in the heart of Glasgow.
