Project Somnolence is a portable lab for encouraging curiosity, reflection and speculative approaches to sleep in the past, present and future. Everyone sleeps and is affected by sleep, but we don’t all sleep the same. Sleep inequalities are associated with differences in class, gender and environmental factors. Project Somnolence utilises methodologies from English, Creative Writing, Music and Psychology to bring fresh perspectives in addressing the urgent and global crisis of sleep.
Presented by The Dear Green Bothy, College of Arts & Humanities at the University of Glasgow and Research and Knowledge Exchange Fund, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Strathclyde.
