Dr Frye-Clark will perform a number of newly composed works for tuba by trans and queer-identifying composers, and intersperse these with discussion of a recent qualitative study conducted by Dr Frye-Clark in collaboration with sociologist colleagues on the queer composer experience, as well as the impact that understanding marginalized composers has on student engagement and learning outcomes.
Thursday 30th May at 4.30pm in the Club Room, 14 University Gardens. All welcome!
