A half day of film screenings in response to renewed threats to queer rights movements and queer activism in South Asia. Four films from independent film makers in Bangladesh and West Bengal will be screened to engage an international dialogue on queer rights, racialization and the power of cinema.
This will be followed by a panel discussion between Rohit Dasgupta, Tanvir Alim, and Adnan Hossain to discuss the role of cinema in social change and wider civil organising.
