The Psychology Class of 1977 celebrated their 45th anniversary on campus
On 2nd-3rd September, the Psychology Class of 1977 met up 45 years after graduating from the University of Glasgow.
The reunion began on Friday night, reliving student days in Tennents Bar on Byres Road followed by a tapas style meal in the Little Curry House in Byres Road. Up bright and early the next morning, the group enjoyed a historical walking tour of the campus led by the SRC, seeing old sights as well as the new campus developments. This was followed by a talk in the QMU delivered by Dr David Simmons, Lecturer in Psychology & Neuroscience, and a buffet lunch enjoyed by all.
A meal at the Ubiquitous Chip on Ashton Lane rounded off the celebrations, though the reunion wasn’t fully over until a date was settled on for the 50th anniversary in 2027!
