World Changing Alumni Award Terms and Conditions
University of Glasgow World Changing Alumni Award Terms and Conditions
- Nominations can be submitted by anyone, including alumni, their friends, family and colleagues, current students and staff (both current and former). UofG alumni may also nominate themselves for the award.
- There is no limit on the number of nominations that can be submitted by a nominator.
- To be eligible, alumni must have been enrolled in a University of Glasgow program and have received an undergraduate, postgraduate or professional qualification. Alumni who are ineligible for the Award include members of the General Council Business Committee, Honorary Graduates, current employees of the University of Glasgow, and politicians holding elected office in the UK or abroad.
- Nominees must have completed their programme of study at the University of Glasgow within the last 15 years.
- Alumni who have previously won an award in any category are not eligible to participate in subsequent years.
- Finalists who did not win an award remain eligible for nomination in future years.
- Voting is open to University of Glasgow alumni, non-graduating alumni and honorary graduates. Alumni may submit one vote and only their first vote will be counted.
Data and Retention Use
- The Development and Alumni Office will retain the information provided in the nomination form, including details about the nominee and nominator, for the duration of the current Awards cycle only.
- Information provided in the nomination form (excluding any personal contact details) will be reviewed by the Alumni Awards Committee, which includes University of Glasgow staff and alumni.
- If an alumnus is selected as a finalist or winner, this achievement will be recorded by the University of Glasgow’s Development & Alumni office on their alumni record.
