Glasgow graduate Laura Muir nominated for World Athletics Award

Laura has been nominated for the Female World Athlete Award 2020.
University of Glasgow alumna Laura Muir (BVMS, 2018) has been nominated for Female World Athlete Award 2020.
Laura has had a tremendous 2020 season, becoming the fastest female in the world over 1500m at Berlin, and setting a new UK 1000m record in Monaco, beating previous record holder Dame Kelly Holmes.
The winner of the award, for which Laura is the only British nominee, will be announced live at the World Athletics Awards 2020 on Saturday 5th December.
The University would like to congratulate Laura for this outstanding achievement, and wish her the best of luck in the upcoming awards.
