The University of Glasgow reserves the right to impose conditions of entry into its events as it, in its absolute discretion, considers necessary to comply with Legal Requirements, Public Health Guidance and University of Glasgow policy surrounding Covid-19. The University of Glasgow shall use all reasonable endeavours to inform you of these conditions in advance of the event and reserves the right, without penalty or liability, to refuse entry to or to ask you to leave any event if these conditions are not complied with e.g. Social Distancing, Public Health Guidance, Legal Requirements and University of Glasgow policy.
It is your responsibility to act in accordance with any Legal Requirements and Public Health Guidance.
The University of Glasgow shall not be liable in any way for any illness or loss whatsoever arising from your failure to comply with this obligation.
The University of Glasgow will not inform you of any guests, who post-event, have advised us they have tested positive for Covid-19 unless advised to do so by Public Health Scotland (or equivalent organisation).
Please pay particular attention to the following points:
• If you feel unwell/have a high temperature or display any other Covid-19 symptoms please cancel your registration immediately and do not attend in person.
• Please arrive on time (not too early or late) as there will be limited space for a waiting area.
• Please do not bring anyone with you that is not registered. Only pre-registered guests can attend.
• If there will be hand sanitizing stations available, please use as directed.
• If you must use the toilet facilities please wash hands thoroughly.
• Please follow any guidance or regulations in place for the country/region where the event is taking place. These include, but are not limited to; the wearing of facemasks, the use of vaccination passports, providing details for any tracing scheme, taking a test before attending event.
