Andrew Carnegie Lecture Series
Every year, the University of Glasgow welcomes some of the world's most important thinkers to engage with local audiences at the Carnegie Lecture.
In 2013, The Carnegie Corporation of New York awarded a grant to celebrate the occasion of its Centennial to the American Alumni of Glasgow University (AAGU). This grant was intended to fund a new series of lectures at the University which had held a special place in Andrew Carnegie's heart.
The lecture series furthers his vision to promote the advancement and diffusion of knowledge and understanding.
