When are timetables made available?
The timetable is typically published four weeks prior to the commencement of the exam period. Both the timetable publication date and the examination period dates are made available on the University's website at the beginning of each academic year.
---
+++
How do I access my timetable?
Students are notified via email once the exam timetable is published. Timetables for each School and Research Institute can be accessed on their respective webpages.
---
+++
Can I see my timetable sooner?
The timetable's release timing is dependent upon course enrolments, which vary annually. Students can modify their enrolments until the end of the second week of teaching. However, the creation of a clash-free timetable can only commence once enrolments are finalised.

Who sets the dates and times of my exams?
Examinations are centrally scheduled by the Registry Team in accordance with University guidelines. These guidelines aim to strike a balance between accommodating student needs, meeting academic department requests, and considering room availability. Exams are scheduled in GMT/BST (UK time).
---
+++
What is the timetabling policy?
Students should typically not expect to have more than three examinations in two days or a morning examination immediately following an evening one. While Registry endeavours to adhere to these conditions, various possible timetable constraints may occasionally prevent strict adherence.
---
+++
Is it possible to have consecutive or same-day exams?
Occasionally, consecutive or same-day exams may occur due to a high volume of students registered for courses requiring examinations within a limited timeframe.
---
+++
What happens if I have additional support and/or access arrangements?
Students requiring additional support or access arrangements for exams, such as those related to disabilities or personal circumstances, should liaise with the Disability Service. Once agreed, your arrangements will be displayed in your MyCampus record, and you will receive personalised information to your Student Email from your School’s Disability Coordinator.
