Prosper Aquitanus [pseudo-]: De vita contemplativa.
'Turin' [i.e. Lyons: Jean de Vingle, ca. 1495]
4to. a-e8. [40] leaves.
Woodcut initials.
ISTC ip01023100; C 4889 (Hunterian copy); Maignien(Grenoble) 472; IBE 4792.
Attributed to Nicolaus de Benedictis and Jacobinus Suigus at Turin in Pellechet (Ms 9783 (9599)). The book is certainly printed in Lyon, despite the colophon: IBE (4792) assigns to Jean de Vingle but see CIBN (B-722 note), suggesting Nicolaus Wolf [ca. 1498] – ISTC.
The author is probably Julianus Pomerius, cf. 'Lexicon für Theologie und Kirche', VIII (Freiburg i.B.: 1936) pp.362, 504-505 (Aquilon 560) – ISTC.
