Decoration: | A seven-line initial ‘S’ on 1/1r is supplied in red, blue and reserved white and set on a square ground of red and violet pen-work, with a floral border of violet pen-work in the inner, upper and lower margins; a three-line initial ‘I’ on 17/10r (f. 170r) is supplied in blue and set on a square ground of red pen-work which extends into the inner margin; a seven-line initial ‘F’ on 17/10v (f. 170v) is supplied in red, blue and reserved white and set on a square ground of violet and red pen-work, the latter extending into the outer margin; paragraph marks supplied in red or blue throughout. |
