EPSRC Grant "Noncommutative Geometry and Quantum Groups"

Christian Voigt was recently awarded an EPSRC First Grant to support his research at the interface of operator algebras, quantum groups and noncommutative geometry. The grant will run for 2 years and provide funding for a 12 month post-doc position. The main research focus within this project will be on problems related to the Baum-Connes conjecture, and connections between quantum groups and coarse geometry.
