Dr Ulrich Kraehmer awarded EPSRC grant to study Hopf algebroids and operads

Ulrich Kraehmer has won an EPSRC First Grant that will fund a project  studying Hopf algebroids and operads.  These are research areas in algebra and in topology that are philosophically related, and the aim is to discover new bridges between and applications of the two theories. We are particularly looking forward to the fact that this project will also bring a new research assistant into his team.  More information about Uli's research can be found on his website.
