BSAVA PetSavers Award 2016

Lead author Gillian Calvo has been awarded the BSAVA PetSavers Award 2016 as the author of the best clinical research paper published in the Journal of Small Animal Practice in 2015. The paper “Development of a behaviour-based measurement tool with defined intervention level for assessing acute pain in cats” by G. Calvo, E. Holden, J. Reid, E. M. Scott, A. Firth, A. Bell, S. Robertson and A. M. Nolan appeared in J of Small Animal Practice and continues the work of our School’s Prof Marian Scott in developing clinical pain assessment tools, in collaboration with the Vet School.
