Research interests

My research interests broadly involve different types of collective decisions, studying them from multiple perspectives, including computational methods, game theory, and mechanism design. Currently, my focus lies in matching problems, particularly for kidney exchange programmes (you can play this kidney exchange game to understand the problem!). My role in the KidneyAlgo project involves analysing the potential extension of the UK's national kidney exchange programme, focusing on how these extensions could be implemented and their potential impact.

Most of my work has been within the field of computational social choice, with a large part of it studying various voting models. My PhD thesis explored many variations of a voting model called liquid democracy, under the supervision of Umberto Grandi (watch a video of me giving an overview of my PhD here). Additionally, I'm interested in the implementation of digital democracy, one highlight being a collaboration in which we created preference elicitation platforms for the French (Mon Programme) and Brazilian (Brazucracia) presidential elections in 2022.
