Cosmic Way Roadshow
The Cosmic Way Roadshow project explores the exciting history and Scotland's vital role in the discovery of Cosmic rays via a Roadshow and other events. Focussing on CTR Wilson's work on Ben Nevis and in Peebles, we unravel the history of our understanding of cosmic rays - radiation from the far cosmos - and the connections between phenomena on the Sun, cosmic rays and the Northern Lights.
The Roadshow has attracted 1000s of visitors since October 2012 at festivals and events across Scotland from Edinburgh to Fort William and Orkney. Most recently, in September 2018, the Cosmic Way Roadshow visited MoSSFest (Middle of Scotland Science Festival) in Stirlingshire.
